How do I care for my new Holland?
Holland Lops are a breed that does not do well in the heat,
but they do fine in cold temperatures. If you choose (against our advise) to keep them outside, you want to make sure that they are always as cool as possible under a fully shaded area.
If they seem too hot, you can put a mister on them to cool them down. Putting a frozen bottle of water in the cage with them can also help.
If you keep them inside, make sure the temperature does not go above
80 degrees in the summer months.
*But again, we fully suggest your Adopted bunny from us are not put them outside... since they have always lived indoors,
as their body could go into shock.
due to a sudden change in temperatures
&/or sudden temp fluctuation(s.
